Treating flies

We have finely tuned our fly control process to ensure the best possible results for our clients. We always recommend spraying both the inside and outside of your home, to ensure maximum protection and treatment longevity. Treating one without the other will essentially provide only half the protection, and we will not be able to honour our Guarantee if we have not been able to provide you with our full service for fly control. 

We start at the ceiling, and work our way down the walls, doorways, windows and frames, light fixtures and down to the skirting boards inside your home. Then we move on to the exterior of your home, starting at the spouting and working down to the ground.

We advise against waterblasting your home for 24 hours before we arrive to treat it, and for 2 weeks afterwards (for full “do’s and don’t’s” please visit our “What Do I Do Now?” page).

Product Spotlight: Green Reaper

Mr Pest Control is proud to use organic pest control products, to reduce the pests in your home without harming our beautiful country.

One of our key pest control products is Green Reaper, an organic insecticide formulated with Permethrin and plant based products, including Citronella and Eucalyptus. It is safe for use indoors and outdoors, and works almost immediately to kill insects on contact. It stays active for months, subject to environmental conditions, when it is applied correctly. It is effective on:

We have used Green Reaper with great success for clients with little ones to look after: childcare centres, schools, kindergartens, and homes- it is safer for asthmatics, babies, and pregnant women*.

*It is always important to follow the instructions provided by our trained and informed technicians, for your health and safety. However we are not able to supervise you once you re-enter your home. Please remember that this is a product designed to kill insects, and as such it is essential that you exercise common sense by not ingesting, inhaling, or coming into direct contact with any insecticides and/or insecticide fumes. Always wash exposed food preparation surfaces, equipment, utensils, crockery, and personal toiletries after treatment has been completed.
